In two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018, Catch offered a course for bachelor and master students together with The Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation. The course was a cross-disciplinary course in game design, visual media and beyond combining hands-on creation of digital games, animations, motion graphics and visual designs with innovative conceptual approaches to game design and storyworld design.
The students learned to apply game, visual and narrative perspectives to new areas such as strategic design, service design and experience design. The aim of the course was to bridge ideas from the students to companies and to test them in public space at Click Festival, 2017 and 2018.
In 2017, the exhibition was titled Journey to the Vast Unknown which referred to the journey the students embarked upon during the process of developing the exhibition and the art works.
In 2018 the exhibition was titled Ubiquitous Futures and was a bigger collaboration with exhibiting artists from different collaborations and projects in Catch
