His art positions itself in-between the virtual and the physical world. Previously, his focus has been on video art, but he has since turned to create artworks based on apps and with game-like references. In 2015, Jacob co-founded the company GoPlayDot with the core purpose to challenge obesity and inactivity caused by indoor gaming. To challenge this, GoPlayDot created DOT; a physically challenging eSports game that uses nature as it’s playing field.

Jacob Tækker is very active in the local art milieu of Elsinore, and together with Catch he is developing a platform for public art.[/vc_custom_heading][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row unlock_row_content=”yes” row_height_percent=”0″ override_padding=”yes” h_padding=”2″ top_padding=”2″ bottom_padding=”2″ overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”0″ column_width_percent=”100″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″][vc_column column_width_percent=”100″ overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ shift_x=”2″ shift_y=”0″ shift_y_down=”-5″ z_index=”0″ width=”1/2″][vc_single_image media=”74885″ media_width_percent=”80″ alignment=”center” css_animation=”alpha-anim” animation_delay=”200″ lbox_skin=”white”][/vc_column][vc_column column_width_percent=”100″ expand_height=”yes” overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ shift_y_down=”0″ z_index=”0″ width=”1/2″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
