Until 2017, Sébastien worked at the National Gallery of Denmark. Here he worked on the idea development and technical implementation of the museum’s digital innovation projects. Moreover, Sébastien is very concerned with the affect of new digital media on the attention of children, and has written a fairytale the Albert og den engelsksprogede enarmede tyveknægt (Albert and the armed bandit). The fairytale is about children and their smartphones and is aimed at kids in the age between four and seven and their parents.

Close2Art

Close2Art is an app developed with the purpose to communicate, experience and spread art and innovation for the museums. Close2Art introduces a new approach to digital communication, which intensifies the guests’ physical experience of the artwork and the way they share the experience with their social circle. Through Close2Art your smartphone becomes an ‘experience intensifier’ and not a barrier between you and the artwork. Furthermore, the project promotes the use of the museums’ digital resources in a way where external partners are given the opportunity to build on and develop innovative solutions that meet the expectations of the ‘digital world’ in relation to digital communication used by the museums.
